Cancelled due to Covid-19

We were looking forward to exploring and performing with our project memoryMechanics at CLICK Festival in May, but because of the current situation the activities has been cancelled.

We postpone and wait for better days… Be safe!

New collaboration in the works!

My project I remember… has been chosen to be part of Staging the Future of Technology vol.2 – a collaboration between HAUT, CLICK festival and Catch.

Karen and I will be collaborating with the research collective Exocollective from Roskilde University on an investigation of both human and computer memory. What happens when we work with artificial intelligence in relation to the body’s ability to both store and evoke memories?

Great review of Come Hygge Yourself!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐ from From-Page-To-Stage 😀
‘Kerry Fitzgerald and Lise Knudsen work well together… Both have excellent comic timing and they do incredibly well to remain poker-faced during the more chaotic moments during the show…
Come Hygge Yourself is a unique, thought-provoking and hilariously awkward production that’s guaranteed to raise a smile. If only all work seminars were as entertaining as this!’

I’m very happy with the positive feedback and this great review – you can read the full version here!

Thank you to everyone who came out to see us in London <3

We’re very grateful to the people who came out to support us at the King’s Head Theatre on July 10th. It became a bang of a show and we definitely delivered on the bonkers front.

I was stoked with the audience feedback: “At first I felt very safe, and by the end I juust wanted to leave. In a good way!” – referring to how the two lovely people conducting this seminar about happiness and hygge (Joanna Joyful & Barbara Beaming) where failing terribly and taking everyone down with them.

We had such a blast and luckily it seemed like the same was the case for the audience! Thank you loads <3

And special thanks to my fellow Ostrich Kerry Fitzgerald!

Come Hygge Yourself getting ready for R&D and touring!

Kerry Fitzgerald and I are taking Purple Ostrich Productions for another stroll with our brand new show, Come Hygge Yourself. It is a spoof-seminar about recipes for happiness and the commodification of the Danish term ‘hygge’ and we have already been invited to Teaterøen in Copenhagen during the CPH Stage Festival, and the Playmill Festival at King’s Head Theatre in London!

In Copenhagen, we will be doing a preview on the 26th of May, but for the full monty in London, you can buy your tickets here. So excited!
